Welcome to the Sweepstakes page! This annual contest gives you an excellent opportunity to be awarded in 2 prize categories. Read on to learn more about our contest rules & how your entered. You also have the option of donating your Prize to the church of your choice.

Official Contest Rules

This Sweepstakes is for "active church musicians" only. Make sure to read and understand all contest rules, eligibility criteria. As a winner of the top prize, you must be validated by your Pastor confirming your age and that you in fact "play" there; or self-qualify (see rules below).

All Prize Winners selected agree to have their first initial/ last name posted on this website. No Exceptions.

The official contest is contingent upon certain conditions that must be met after the 1st year (explained below).

Participation Rules

[Primarily for Church Musicians/CMs. Performers selected as default]

You choose your status on the join form.

All church musicians are automatically entered after totaling deposits of $40 in 28 days or less. (1 SOUPZ month).

Along with less than 2 SPs* on your account, you're eligible if you;

1) Are 18 yrs. old by the start of Prize draw.     2) Deposit $40 in 28 days or less. 

3) Be noted as a church Musician on your join form.

You will be sent a SOUPZ Sweepstakes LLC entry form upon completing the STR.

SP - Suspension.

As long as you meet these criteria when selected, with less than 2 SPs on your account, you can claim your prize. If you fail to meet all these requirements, another random Member will be selected, qualified and have the opportunity to claim your prize.

If the number of church musicians deplete or no more are eligible, then any performer in SOUPZ (another musician, or PR person, or singer, or anyone who has identified themselves as participator in the music field) will be selected to receive the remaining prizes.

All top prizes are only $100, so no personal info is used other than your first initial/last name, posted on the Winners List after each drawing (required).

The lowest prize amount that must be reported to the I.R.S. in any Sweepstakes is $600. So that requirement is unwarranted here. Members can win the top prize ($100) in consecutive years, but cannot be selected twice in one drawing).

Contest Prizes and Schedule

There are a total of 300 Prizes to be claimed in the Sweepstakes. This annual Contest starts the first Monday in August & ends 5-10 weeks later (must allow time for verification, replacements, etc.). As long as you've completed the STR and have less than 2 SPs, you are likely eligible to receive a prize if selected.

50 "random church musician Members" per week are selected & qualified each of the 1st 4 weeks during the Contest. If everything goes as planned, the contest may end in less than a month (it's rare that this happens).

Opal Prize Winners

To receive the $100 prize, you must self-verify or be verified by your Pastor. A Pastor verification form will be emailed to you and your Pastor must verify on the form "who you are"by name, as well as the fact that you play there.

You can self-verify by sending us a link to the Sunday service at your church, with your Pastor acknowledging you "by name" (not "our organist, or pianist" i.e.) in the service (recorded service must be held in the weeks during the contest). You are allowed 2 week s to verify after prize notification. You can also donate your prize to your Church or the Church of your choice (no verification).

Not verifying will forfeit your prize, and it will be given to another qualified member.

Be sure to check this site for the latest information. Winners will be announced after each weekly drawing concludes (1st initial/last name only).

All contest entrants are automatically disqualified after their 2nd suspension (SP). SOUPZ is not responsible to notify you of this. The requirements in FAQ clearly state the process. You will be bypassed if your selected, as you confirmed that you read all the contents of the FAQ before signing up to join. Only the default winner will be posted on the Winner's list and you will not know who that is. Nor will you know you were selected.
